This year the festival is on hiatus. But we’ll be back next year with better programs, more fun and, hopefully, some funding.
Still we continue all the touring activities, so if you want to screen great music videos — drop us a line.
The entry call will be open in spring 2011.

Tour de Film proudly presents the Second International Music Video Festival MUSEEK which will take place from November 6th to 13th 2009 in «Rodina».
We have finished with the selection process!
This year the number of entries increased to 300.
And we received films from much more countries than last year: not only Russia, USA and usual big European coutries, but also India, Philippines, Albania and Luxembourg among the others.
Today all the filmmakers who submitted their films will hear from us upon the final selection decesion. And starting next week we’ll start revealing the gems we’ve gathered for you.

The award goes to…
The Selection Committee announced the participants of The First International Music Video Festival!
We have received more than 600 submissions from all over the world. It was really hard to divide all the great music videos into 4 programs. And here are the results:
A retrospective of Michel Gonry’s music video
Simply known as the director whose work makes other directors cry, Michel Gondry sets the standard in everything he does. His groundbreaking videos for artists including The White Stripes, Bjork, The Chemical Brothers and Daft Punk, have won him every music video award available, and he is in the Guiness Book of World Records as the director of the commercial that has won the most prizes in the world, including the Grand Prix at Cannes, three silvers at D&AD and the best campaign at BTAA [Levi’s Drugstore]. He has also completed four feature films, Human Nature, the Oscar-winning Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, and the recently completed The Science of Sleep and Be Kind Rewind.
First film entered the Non-Competitive Section!
There are quite a number of music video festivals around the world, but none in Russia…
So, Tour de Film and Loud Media decided to change such a sad statistics and organize The 1st International Music Video Festival MUSEEK which will be held between November 14th and 23rd, 2008 in Saint-Petersburg, Russia.
We invite everyone to take part in 1st International Music Video Festival MUSEEK: professionals, students, creative amateurs. We accept only music videos. The only criteria is that the image should greatly coincide with the music. The deadline for submitting a film is the November 1st, 2008 [the films must be received by that time]. There is no entry fee. All submitted films may enter the International Competition and the The Non-Competitive Section. Selected films will have a chance to win 500 €.
